Toby spent the early part of his career in institutional funds management in London. Since 2003, he has specialised in research and portfolio management for private wealth clients.
Prior to relocating to Australia in 2010, Toby held roles in research and portfolio management at SG Global Private Banking and HSBC Private Wealth Managers. In Australia, he worked in research for Standard & Poor’s and UBS Wealth Management, before heading Research and Advisory for Citibank Wealth Management. He was most recently Chief Investment Officer of ASX-listed licensee, Centrepoint Alliance, before launching Harbour Reach in 2018.
Toby holds a Bachelor of Laws honours degree and a Maitrise, both in English and French law, from the Universities of London and Paris respectively. He also holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of London. He is a CFA charter holder, a certified Financial Risk Manager, and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Toby is also currently a member of the Sydney CFA Society’s Member Education Committee.
Giselle, who joined Belay Advisory in July 2020, has been in investment markets for over 30 years, is a regular contributor to the Australian Financial Review and a participant in investment forums.
With degrees in Geology and Economics it was inevitable that a young Giselle would start reviewing mining stocks. She quickly moved to industrial companies and has specialised in consumer stocks for most of her 20 years with Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.
An interest in other asset classes and a desire to connect directly with investor groups led her to the role of Chief Investment Officer at JBWere in 2008. This was followed by a similar position at Escala Partners.
Giselle left Escala in late 2019 to consult to a small range of investment groups and related organisations. Now she is bringing her extensive experience to Belay, providing you with access to extensive industry knowledge, and helping you to better achieve your financial goals.
